My friend's handsome little men

My friend Penny is awesome! We can sometimes go without talking or seeing each other for months, or a year. But as soon as we reconnect, it's like we've never stopped talking. I love that about some friendships. She has 3 older kids from her first marriage. They are awesome! And I was first introduced to them about 8 years ago now, so they were much younger. It's been fun watching them grow up. Her oldest is 16 and driving now. It makes me feel super old!
Now she has 2 more kids with her 2nd husband. I remember the morning of my brother's wedding, I got a text at 5am telling me she was on her way to the hospital. But she didn't end up having Danny til the next morning. Here is Danny=o) He tends to be kind of shy around me, but the more I visit there, he is really starting to warm up to me! It does me a world of good to know I haven't lost my 'special' touch with kids;o)

Love his dimples!
He loves his baby brother, Roger

Here is Roger. He is a smiley little guy. He is only 2 months old and already weighs just over 14 pounds. He's a chunky monkey, but oh so sweet and squishy=0)

Just look at that double chin, eh? And his gorgeous eyes!

Squeakers=0)

My boy got a haircut this past month. He hadn't had a cut since just before Christmas and he was so knotted, it was terrible! So I cut most of the knots out myself before bringing him to the groomers. I figured with the weather turning so much warmer so quickly, he would get too hot! So off we went. I kind of enjoy when he goes(usually only twice a year, if that) because I get to leave him there for 2 hours and come home and have a break=o)
So here was the finished look! Not bad for a summer cut, eh? He should keep nice and cool now, at least til the fall.
This picture is of my poor boy totally out of it. He ended up getting a clippers burn(still bugging him to this day) and he kept itching the spot, therefore making it bleed! He wouldn't stop itching and it was driving me insane! I felt bad for him because he couldn't do anything to stop it. So I called my sister, Jennifer and asked if she had any children's benadryl. Thankfully she did and so I picked it up and gave some to Squeakers. It took 2 doses before it finally kicked in and he was out like a light for a couple hours=o) He finally stopped itching during that time, but continually does it still and each time he does, it opens up again.
He LOVES this basket! It may look too small, but he usually curls up in a little ball and sleeps well in it=o) Usually, he likes to be with me wherever I go. But when he was zonked out, he didn't even move when he heard me moving. At one point, he kind of looked up at me, but he was so dazed, I had to laugh and then he put his head down again and went rite back to sleep.
This is the lovely clipper burn. At the top left is his eye. This is a side profile. He only has one small spot, about the size of a nickle left that's still bothering him. I'm hoping it goes away soon! I have even resorted to putting a baby sock on his back paw, the one he uses to scratch with, in hopes that he can't keep opening it up with his nails. He is still scratching, but it's not opening up as much with the sock on=o)

Our Chicken Pox family=o)

Little Miss Chloe was the first one to get the chicken pox. She was still able to smile in the beginning, but I think after a few days, she wasn't quite as happy. And she also got her top 2 teeth and a bottom tooth during the same time.
She didn't mind posing for a few pictures of her pox marked body;o) I kept calling her 'poxy girl'. I don't think she minded
A nice close-up. I will admit I still think she is one ridiculously cute little girly=0)

Showing off;o)
The latest 2 victims. Susie started on the Thursday evening and Ethan started Friday afternoon with their spots. I felt so bad for Susie! She got them quite bad! And everywhere! In her mouth, on her feet, on her lips, etc. Not fun, especially at the age of 20 when most have already gotten them when they were younger. But I'm glad she got them now and not years down the road. It's more dangerous the older they get!
Her poor feet! I did laugh at her, but I felt bad for her too!

She was not a happy camper. She just looked so sad and miserable, I had wished I could do something for her! But she's been a trooper and has made it thru the worst. She couldn't eat much because of the ones in her mouth and then not moving around too much made her stomach upset. And she was super tired!

And finally pictures of Mr. Ethan=o)

He was like Auntie Sue and got them around his mouth and on his lips too. We had a friend of mine come on Friday to play with Ethan at my place because she wants her kids to get the pox. By the end, Ethan was sad and just ready to go home. He told me he missed his dad! I had asked the boys to clean the toys up, Ethan(4) and Danny(almost 2), and Ethan put the toys in the toy box, then Danny would take them out. Ethan just ran into my arms and told me he didn't love Danny anymore and he wasn't putting the toys away. He cried and I could tell he was done in for the day. So as soon as the toys were put away, I took Ethan home so he could have a baking soda bath and nap=o)

Ethan just LOVES Squeakers! He always asks where he is and how he's doing. And he loved Squeakers new haircut. So fun and my boy is so good with kids, I'm so thankful!
Here is Susie and Ethan finally on the mend=0) I think they will both be glad when all the spots are finally gone.
Love all three of you, cute poxy girls and boy;o)

May 24 weekend=o)

On the May long weekend, I spent the Friday til Sunday at my Aunt Jenny's place. Her husband was gone on a golf trip til Monday. So Squeakers and I went to keep her company and help out with the kids. She has four kids=o) In the above is her oldest, Jenna
Jordan
Me and Jadyn
Me and Jessalyn
This is my other aunt's daughter, Kristin
We had lots of fun that weekend! And fun with my phone camera too;o)
Crazy faces!

These were my lovely accommodations=o) Isn't my bed beautiful? I LOVE Belle, and this made me feel like a princess;o) I never had anything like this when I was a kid, so I enjoyed every minute of it!

These were the only pictures I got of Squeakers for the weekend. He had an absolute blast with the kids!!! Ever since I moved out of Ken and Belinda's granny flat, he has missed kids something fierce! He always sits rite in front of my house, rite at the sidewalk and as soon as he hears or sees some kids, his tail starts wagging and he starts whining until they get close enough.
Bet you didn't know you can also use your child's booster seat as a dog seat, did you? There was actually no more room since I had his things, my bag, a bag of clothes from another aunt that she was getting rid of and Squeakers cage. I don't think he minded his seat tho;o)
